Firefox does not expires the cache if given date is completed, every time file fetched from cache

I want use cache for particular time period, At the first time when hit the url all files (javascript, html, css) read server and save that files in browser cache for particular time. next time hit the url then files (javascript, html, css) fetch from the browser cache. but expire time is over the files get from server, It's working with the chrome but facing the issue with Firefox Version 60.0 (64-bit) and IE 11 browsers.

These instructions should clear the cache when you close Firefox;

Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar. The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.

Turn on Remember My Browsing And Download History At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on Cache and Form And Search History
