I do not want to see pictures in websites, how to hide them? This option is available in opera browser and microsoft internet explorer.

I do not want to see pictures and videos in websites. I want to just see text and other things, but pictures are useless to me. How can I hide them. This option is present in microsft internet explorer as well as opera browser but does not seem to be there in mozilla. So you end up seeing lot of pictures which are useless anyway.
