Malwarebytes false negative made me delete my thunderbird account and remake it. There were lots of subfolders in 'deleted' and of course these have vanished. Can I pull back these subfolders and their content from external disk backup and, if so, where would they have been located?

Chosen solution

The easiest would be to restore the entire profile, assuming this is what you backed up. Please confirm. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Thunderbird

Hi Again - pulled in an old profile and profile.ini from external drive. Am a happy bunny again. I've learnt too! Thanks again.
