My bookmark folders do not stay "open" in FF for Android so I have to scroll to open the folder again

L-o-n-g time user of FF (e.g. Netscape on). I've built a large and sorted set of bookmarks over all these years. For the first time, I tried the FF Sync to get my bookmarks from my desktop to my Android tablet (old HP Touchpad with Pac Man Android) (since I couldn't get Xmarks to install).

When I go to my bookmarks on the tablet, FF starts in my Android created bookmarks which is OK. I have to scroll up to find Desktop Bookmarks and then scroll to navigate my various (nested) folders.

I usually open a bookmark in a new tab so I'm doing that on the tablet too. However, when I close that tab, I find the bookmarks tab is back to its "beginning" (at the Android bookmarks) so I have to start all my scrolling and navigating again to get to my next bookmark (which would be in the same nested folder as the last one I used). This can be really frustrating when my finger simply slips and activates the wrong bookmark!

I am so used to browsing with the bookmarks sidebar on the desktop that I find it hard to imagine not browsing in a very similar fashion on the tablet. Is this standard behavior for the tabs in FF for Android? Is it something that is being worked on? I would love to come back to the bookmarks and be exactly where I was.

Thank you!
