can I remove the adapvive app search pane from the home screen. I use pictures from my gallery as wallpapers and the search pane obscures the faces of grandkids
the adaptive app search pane is at the top of the home screen and is positioned that it obscures anything that is on the home screen. the wallpaper image cannot be seen behind the pane. it is annoying

Hi Bruce61, sorry about that unrelated rant.
If you want to move widgets and icons between your different home screens, you can press and hold them (at some point the appearance will change, indicating they are movable) and drag them to the left edge to move left or the right edge to move right.
I don't own a Firefox OS device, but from what I have read, it's similar to Android in this respect.
Can you find a new home for the search bar?
the adaptive app search pane is a white non moveable bar at the top of the home screen that obscures anything behind it. I do not use any of widget stuff that it leads ti, I do not twitter or tweet, and the app seems to be a data use trap, just saying, not applicable for me. Can I remove the application and view the entire home screen. I have upgraded to the 1.1 version on a zte open and the bar is nonmovable
to invoke the name of Christ in such a hatefull outcry for help seems a bit satanic. are you sure you don't have the problem
Hi,
I use Firefox OS as my primary device. I understand that the adaptive app search at the top of the homescreen is not wanted. However that cannot be removed at this moment. I do apologize however I will get a bug on file for you in regards to this.
Thanks and sorry for any inconvenience!
Currently, the bar is not movable.
I guess the other option is to have a new blank page?
I created a bug to track this feature request: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=969134
thank you
