I am not good at English I am sorry for using a translator to write your question

I hit the delete button on the play store to stop using android firefox. However, all files such as photos/videos/pdf that I have installed through Firefox have been deleted as well. Why is this happening?

Hi

You should still find that your downloaded files are in the "downloads" folder on your Android device. You should be able to access this through a file manager app.

I thought the files were left in the downloads folder, but only the files downloaded through the Firefox browser are deleted from the downloads folder, and files installed in other browsers (chrome/naver) remain. I don't know how this happens

Hi

I have tested this myself. I downloaded a file with Firefox, removed Firefox and the file was still available in the "downloads" folder.

Thank you so much for posting a reply. I tried it on my phone and still the problem occurs. But if you delete firefox after moving the files from the downloads folder to another folder, this won't happen. I really don't know the cause.

What version of Android is installed on your device?

Hi

What is the make and model of your Android device where this is happening?

Does the same thing happen to you if you use the Beta version of Firefox for Android available from the Google Play store?

The same thing happens in Firefox Beta. This also happens with Chromium-based Vivaldi. I've contacted the device manufacturer as I don't think it's a Firefox-specific issue. I'll copy the manufacturer's answer here.
