hello constantine66548, as a first step to diagnose the cause of this issue please try launching firefox in safe mode once and see if you can replicate this behaviour there...

Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

You can also check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox Profile Folder.

You can try to reset Firefox if you can't fix your current Firefox Profile Folder.

If you reset Firefox then a new profile is created and some of your data (bookmarks, passwords, cookies, form data) is automatically imported and your current profile will be moved to the desktop (Old Firefox Data).

You can recover more data from the old profile (be cautious with doing that).

I have similar setup and issues. these solutions are not working either. eventually the browser started working but something seems buggy with this build. also flash games on fb not working, everything is up to date. think its just a bug but no idea on how to fix it.

There has got to be a better solution that uninstalling or creating new accounts, etc. Kind of like doing brain surgery with a chainsaw isn't it?

You can check for problems caused by recent Flash updates and try these:

  • disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
  • disable protected mode in Flash 11.3 and later
  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
  • downgrade the Flash player to version 10.3 or 11.2

I have no plug in extension, looked so no dice on that one. I also unchecked hardware acceleration and did the safe mode method again not the problem.

I will give the disable protected mode and worst case scenario downgrade. let you know when i can. Appreciate the advice. Thanks.
