Try using safemode does that help?

I am not entirely sure what you are seeing.or missing, maybe you could explain in abit more detail, possibly including a screenshot

Thank for the answer.

What I see: If I right-click on the page, I shall see a context pop-up menu. However, this menu only flashes and then disappears (became transparent), only menu border is visible. The same thing happens with all other kinds of pop-up menus. I cannot create a screenshot, because pressing Print Screen causes disappearing of pop-up menus.

Switching off hardware accelerator helped - thank you for the reference. However the problem appeared after upgrading to version 16.0.1, version 16.0 worked fine. So I'm not sure the problem is caused by drivers.

I have the same problem with 16.0.1. Using three screens: 1 - 2 - 3.

1 and 2 are connected to a graphic controller, 3 to the mainboard. The problem appears only, when Mozilla is on screen 2. When Mozilla is partially on 1 and partially on 2, the part on 1 behaves normal. When I change logical sreens to 2 - 1 - 3, the problem is on screen 1, physically still the middle, logically the left screen. To explain what I mean: Using this sequence and the cursor is on 2 I have to move the cursor to the right to get from 1 to 2.

Everything looks ok, when I start Mozilla in safe mode.

Anything more to look at?

Greetings, Klaus

Try disabling Hardware acceleration, that is one of the changes that SafeMode makes.

If turning off hardware acceleration helps then it is a graphics problem and you may find that it will be solved by upgrading the graphics drivers.
(Alternatively but rarely when there are problems it may help to do the opposite and roll back the graphics drivers. )

I'm also experencing the same problem. It appeared after the 16.0.0 -> 16.0.1 update. Graphics drivers are up to date (intel HD3000, Win7 64bit) The problem is only showing on the part of the FF window which is on a secondary display. eg. Clicking on the FireFox drop down menu results in a the menu flashing on, and then being replaced with transparent menu box with only the right/bottom edge drop shadow borders displayed. Moving the mouse around in the menu area will result in the menu text displaying intermittantly.

Turning Hardware acceleration off fixes the problem.
