How do I disable "The connection to the server was reset" Alert pop-up
How can I disable the "The connection to the server was reset" pop-up message in Firefox? To my eyes, the webpage loads fine, so I don't give a hoot if the connection reset. Sometimes this 'stupid' message pops up 4-5 times on a single webpage, and then I MUST close every pop-up before I can navigate anywhere else. It is a real pain in the... I asked this same question a year ago, and received no responses, so I thought I would ask again. I used google to look for an answer, and the only response I could find was that there must be some bad coding on the page that you are visiting. If that is the right answer, most pages on the internet are full of bad code. But, who cares. That wasn't the question. I want to know how to DISABLE the connection to the server was reset pop-up. And if I can't do that, how can I adjust the time it takes for the message to pop-up? Most of the time it pops up, it is within a couple of seconds of the page loading. If it could be adjusted, to say 2 or 3 minutes, 95% of the time, I would be navigated away from that page, and the pop-up wouldn't annoy me. Hopefully I can get a response this time. Thanks.

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that works.
