I've already posted some years ago about the passage of achieving an incredible performance hog and slowness in the first years of 2000's and that was a big conquer. Firefox was flawless before and then you managed to fuck it up big time. Well... I said, what I can do? Now, you put some big hype on the last version like "HEY WE GOT A NEW UI WE'RE COOL KIDS IT'S ALL NEW AND WE HAVE COOL UI KIDS WORKING HERE". Just look this: What everyone looks most in the options menus while using a browsers? Download tab usually, that's a fact. We dowload lot of files and every user downloads some files. Then WHAT WE COULD DO TO IMPROVE THIS? WE'RE COOL UI DESIGNERS, LET'S MAKE THIS BETTER. That download menu immediately shown right when you click that hamburger menù in the top right corner is too straightforward and easy. Let's put it under some submenus like Library-> Downloads. Instead we put a more useful menu right upfront like More-> Text Encoding. Everyone looks at text encoding. Surely all users are tech savy enough to know if they could have problems with UTF-8 or something else. You guys manage to surprise me in a negative way every time. I genuinely had to figure out where download tab could be hidden by going each menu and find it. Do you do a IQ test to hire people for you and let in only the lowest scoring?
