How do I completely remove all traces of Firefox from my windows 10 OS? Note: This is why, After windows ask me to run your application or program or software, and I click the yes button after I had done that it doesn't do anything after that and then it just repeatedly does this, and I had used windows uninstall program and I uninstall Firefox then I had reinstall it and it still did the same exact thing that I had mentioned above "even tried using the Windows Registry Editor too!"

Note for years I had used your browser and hardly had any troubles with or problems with your browser

10/20/20

I clicked on the update button last night - running 81.0, and the update was for 81.0.2. When I went to open the browser all that I got was a line at the top - FF would not open. I backed up the profile, and did a clean install. When I finally got the backed up profile installed, it opened properly once and everything was there. When I opened it again, no book marks, and none of the buttons worked. FF didn't close properly, and I had to use Task Manager to shut down.

I ended up downloading the beta version, and it's worked just fine. The original profile works, so all bookmarks are there.

I see that FF released 82.0 this morning. Is it safe to try to install it, or is the beta version that I installed last night really 82, just hours before it was officially released?

I extremely triggered of this extremely incomfort Mozilla support. Recently I log in in f****n@ya.ru account and wrote a 2 massages to one of users. Now I want to log in and see are my massages answered and see THAT: "The email used with this Firefox Account is already linked in another profile.", "This account is not active. Please contact an administrator if you believe this is an error". contact the administrator - WHERE is administrator email or ANYTHING that give me a possibility to contact him?! In any non-extremely uncomfort site there's will be a link in "contact an administrator" for I'm not be forced to turn the world upside down in search of this administrator. But there's no link. Ok, I find "contact" button, see standart "contact" page for big companies with large text instead of 1-3 emails, Ctrl+F "administrator" - no matches. WHO should I contact if I have this problem, why this site so intricate?!! Why it's saying "CONTACT administrator" without GIVING CONTACTS of administrator?!! Why can't I log in my account?!!

I am positive about Firefox is the most secure browser and have evidence of it. Nevertheless the following site could traspass the Firefox barriers: https://www.eldestapeweb.com/ I am concerned on the survival of Free World and consecuently of Free Software. I guess the above mentioned site belongs to a parapolitical official organization. I consider that for it's job obtained tech help from some powerful international group. The average user of Firefox is unprevented of this issue. I am not asking for help in my behalf, because I have the necesary time to help myself. I suggest the Mozilla guys to investigate the facts. Sincery yours, Edgardo Colombo Buenos Aires.

Am trying to take an online assessment for a job. I’m getting - Error: Firefox can not see the cpu or ram on this PC. I’m running win 10 64bit and have the latest version of Firefox installed. I’ve turned off thumbprints, added the site as a trusted site and pretty much killed all security for this site. How can I let FF see the cpu/ram?

The name of the main plugin is Ledger live , and on your site, they are stealing with the same names and with a little change All plugins in this section of your site plugins are fake and thieves except SpeedLedger Which has a different topic and you can check https://addons.mozilla.org/fa/firefox/search/?platform=windows&q=ledger%20live I look forward to hearing from you to prevent further theft Thankful

I have a couple of problems

1) I just did a security firefox security scan an was informed that in 2017 there was a breach of my "My Heritage Account" and that passwords and Email addresses were compromised. I would like more info on this report : just what passwords and Email addresses were compromised? Was it just My Heritage data or would it be everything on my computer.

2) My Firefox software won't open my Outlook emails: Edge and Google Chrome work fine. What is the fix for this problem?

I am connected to a vpn and it is located in the UK. See the attached images.

I know that the vpn is fine because this works flawlessly in the google garbage browser. Actually, any browser at all. Just firefox remains blocked.

I tried with geo.enabled set to true and false as well.

Dear community,

I would like to bring up a topic that is DRIVING ME CRAZY. I am developer and frequently access my own services on unsecured http servers for testing. Spin up a new docker container, test it, tear it down. No SSL required, no time to mess with encryption.

But if you type in https just a single time for your http server, you are f*#&ed. Sorry for the wording, but this is how it is. You think "OH NO, WHAT DID I DO? NOT AGAIN!!!" Because it is just impossible to access the service with http in the future, Firefox has it locked to SSL (Domain and Port). But of course there is no SSL so it will NEVER work.

Latest example: JetBrains TeamCity. They have a simple Docker container I want to access with Firefox. I spin it up, connect with Firefox with http and it immediately tells me "Secure Connection Failed". WHAT? WHY? I typed http. Why secure? Why can't I simply connect? Using curl on CLI just gives me a beautiful HTML response.

I understand that for the majority of users SSL is a good thing. But shouldn't there at least be an OPTION to disable all this enforced SSL usage? My beloved Firefox is my everyday productivity killer. It makes me sad.

I rebooted my computer after it crashed, due to what appeared to be a hard drive error (at first when I restarted the computer I got the message, "Default Boot Device Missing or Boot Failed)". Once I managed to get the PC started again I opened Firefox and found out that all of my saved passwords were gone as well as nearly all of my browsing history, which goes back over a year. Strangely enough, not everything is deleted - there are still several webpages that I visited in the past that still show up in the browser history, especially from the last few months. Not only that, but when I scroll through list of web results, webpages that I previously visited are still highlighted in purple, even though many of them do not show up in the much reduced browser history. Does this mean that the remainder of the browsing history is still somewhere? The Firefox profile is the same one as before the crash.

Thank you!

I've been using Sync for a long time, my account password was saved within the browser, it just worked.

After update to version 81, following things happened: - all of the settings set in the options as well as about:config were re-set to defaults, - I could not log into Firefox account with a password working perfectly until now, - when tried 'Forgot password procedure' I've received "email address returned" error.

Is there anything I can do other than creating new account?

Thanks

Hi! As the title states, since the latest windows update (am now on 19041.508), anytime I go on a webpage on Firefox it's extremely slow to load, however once loaded the page is as fast as it should be!

I don't have any antivirus other than windows defender, and disabling it/the windows firewall doesn't fix the issue, so it doesn't seem to be linked to that either, on the online forums such as this one I found it was also common to have issues caused by hardware acceleration, playing with that setting does not help either.

Another friend of mine has the same issue as me since the last update, so I'm assuming it's not something unique to my situation, is this a known issue for which a fix is available? Searching for one has yielded only outdated results.

Thanks a lot!
