How do I stop Firefox from remembering website redirects?

When I log on to a certain wlan, it asks me to open the browser to provide log-in information. If I then open Firefox (or enter a website if Firefox is already running), I will be redirected to the network log-in site. That is all working as intended. However, Firefox then seems to remember that I was redirected to the login-site from the start page (or whatever website I was entering). So, all subsequent attempts to load that page will be automatically redirected to the login-site, even if I am already connected or if I'm using another network. There seems to be no way to reach the desired site without erasing the browser history of the first redirect.
