I have transferred my bookmarks from the Firefox Old Data to my new Firefox profile folder but I could not still see them when have opened my bookmarks. Why?

I have transferred my bookmarks from the Firefox Old Data backup folder of my older Firefox version to my new Firefox profile folder but I could not find them when opened my bookmarks. Why is it? How could I see them along with my new bookmarks? Thanks, Alex
