My browser interface keeps changing, how can I reinstall?

more options

My browser is not showing what I see in the Get Started video. There is no Firebox box in the upper left corner, no tabs, no all tabs to the right. I've tried to reset items, but the browser keeps changing back. I've tried to update with no success. I've tried to install migration, but the page has no install button. What is going on? It's a real mess. I've set the Firefox as the default.

Hi rezbird, you can choose between the full width classic menu bar and the orange Firefox button. If you have the menu bar, use

View menu > Toolbars > Menu bar

to turn it off. (To show that full bar when you are using the compact menu, tap the Alt key; same trick you would use in IE or Windows Media Player.)

This setting is stored in a file in your personal Firefox settings folder, also known as your Firefox profile folder. If you notice that this resets every time you start Firefox, there may be a problem with permissions or the file might be corrupted. If you notice it resetting at other intervals, you may have external software that "cleans" your profile folder; I think CCleaner might do this and you might need to make an exception for your Firefox settings.

I'm not sure what you mean about trying to install Migration. Is that an add-on?
