firefox 7.0 will open in my homepage then go in a no response loop for about 30 seconds and then unfreezes works fine but after just about 15 mins later goes back in a freeze the screen dulls and after 30 secs wakes up again . i tried a fresh reload of firefox cleared cache etc. this never stops, getting used to it by now last 2 weeks. went back to other browsers chrome etc all work without this freeze or loop but still use firefox cause i like everything else about it, any suggestions thanks tom

freezing at regular intervals:

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/places-maintenance/

Install add-on, run at least the option mentioned in the article, I ran them all. When finished you can uninstall the extension, all without taking taking Firefox down, The extension is one of the new JetPack extensions.
