I've upgraded our XP pc to Firefox & I don't have the new Firefox button - I've still got the old File - Edit etc menu at the top. The Tabs etc have all changed - it's just the button that hasn't appeared. My husband has a different XP user on the same pc, and he does have the new button, rather bizarrely (since, presumably, we're both running the same software!).

The Firefox button is only a default feature for Windows Vista and 7. To have the Firefox button in Windows XP, go to:

View > Toolbars and UNCHECK the Menu bar. Then the Firefox button should appear. Please read this article for more details:

The Firefox button is only a default feature for Windows Vista and 7. To have the Firefox button in Windows XP, go to:

View > Toolbars and UNCHECK the Menu bar. Then the Firefox button should appear. Please read this article for more details:
