Firefox just updated itself on my android tablet (without asking...). Now it's in an unusable state, all addons except one are "unavailable" (except one, ublock origin, which is actually disabled because I use umatrix,).

In preference order, I need to either : - enable the missing addons - go back to the previous version which worked OK (now, it says 75.0.0-beta.4)

How do I get firefox usable again?

Hi

Thank you for your question and thank you for being a Beta tester and helping make Firefox for Android even better.

We are currently updating users of Firefox for Android Beta to the new Firefox Preview which is much faster and provides a much smoother browsing epxeriance. At the present time, there is only one add-on available, but further to this blog entry more are due to be released soon, with the hope that even more will be made available as soon as possible.

You can still install Firefox for Android from the Google Play store, with this updating to the full Release version of Firefox Preview once we are comfortable that the Beta level work is complete.
