Could you describe this problem in more detail?
Out of the box, Firefox only has a tab bar at the top of the window. Is that the one you're having a problem with? What do you mean by not expanding?
If your tabs are (or used to be) listed in the left sidebar, that's probably a feature of an add-on. Perhaps it needs to be updated?? You could try this:
Open the Add-ons page -- either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then above the list click the small button with the "gear" / "wheel" / "cog" icon and use "Check for Updates". Alternately, you can use the "More" link for an individual extension and toward the bottom of the page there should be a Check for Updates link.
Any improvement?

I have the beta version, out had the tabs o.k. the side and the while side window slides out when you mouse over out. Everything was getting stuck so I closed it, reopened and that fixed it. Thanks!
