With the moving of Cox emails to Yahoo would it be feasible for Thunderbird to put an instruction list(with screenshots) of how to get all our TB email accounts from Cox to TB? Do we have to delete all our TB email accounts and re-enter them into TB under the new Yahoo or can we just change the server settings on the existing Cox settings? If just changing server settings what are the settings for the new yahoo? All my accounts are IMAP so if instructions could be made, maybe one for IMAP and one for POP for those who use either. Thank you

I would really like to keep all my received emails and replies to be in the same (inbox) window?

Example: I open a message a window opens with the message. I read the message, when I reply it opens ANOTHER window (can't stand this).

Is there way to keep all the messages linear? And not have multiple windows open?

How does one enable calendars in Thunderbird version 115.8.0? When I click the calendar icon on the left of the page, I get a calendar displayed but it has a message highlighted in yellow that says: "All calendars are currently disabled. Enable an existing calendar or add a new one to create or add events."

I cannot find anything in settings or elsewhere to enable calendars.

Hello, I have been using Thunderbird with the Manually Sort Folders app for years. The ability to place folders and subfolders where I need them is essential for what I do. With the latest Thunderbird "upgrade", it was downgraded as the Manually Sort Folders app is no longer useable. Until Mozilla fixes it to where either the app can be used or Thunderbird is improved so that it will let me sort folders itself, I cannot upgrade. Please either render the Manually Sort Folders app useable again or make Thunderbird so that folder can be sorted. Thank you.

How can I turn off the threading of my emails? Its driving me crazy as when an email comes in after a short time it disappears into the threads and then I have to open each thread to find out who sent the email. At one stage there were 6 emails noted near the inbox but no new unthreaded message, all went to respective threads. Very time wasting.

Thunbderbird, will not load inbox emails. sent mails showing and folders. test email sent not showing.

Want to:

• Sort email by newest on top
• Include sub-emails within threads for the newest on top (currently still oldest on top)
• Apply this default setting to all. I don't want to sort every account, every folder manually. That's too tedious.

Thunderbird has oldest on top. This includes emails within a thread/conversation. Changing the sort to newest on top does not change the emails within the thread/conversation. The sort does not apply to all emails. I find this very annoying.

Hello, Linux environment is running on my chromebook, thunderbird has been installed. 2 issues: - When I try to install an extension, I always get a message "This extension will have permission to have unlimited access to thunderbird and the computer". and I'm stuck. The add button does not trigger any action. This does the same thing if I want to install a dictionary from the settings. - I have no access shared folders like my Drive on my Chromebook, despite having Linux sharing enabled. I believe Mozilla is now the server for Thunderbird? I don't even know if that is accurate (part of my confusion). My Thunderbird password has been compromised and I've been trying to create a new password for my email inbox. I've followed all the guides but just can't seem to do this!! My email location does not appear in 'saved passwords' which doesn't seem to be helping...please help!!
