To give a actual answer on why.

It may not be possible to build mobile Firefox for BB 10 now days as QNX support has long been removed from the Mozilla source tree.

Look in bugzilla for QNX to see a number of bug examples on this.

Edit: It is possible to side load Android apps converted to .bar files, though this only works with some Android apps.
