Only recently has Firefox 7.0.1 for Mac been crashing repeatedly. Is it time for a new browser? Any solution?

In the past week, Firefox, which had been working flawlessly on my Mac OSx 10.6.8, now crashes just about every time I use it. Usually there are two or more tabs open. I have changed nothing on my computer. I have submitted reports each time.

It seems to be working so far. I am on an iMac and OS 10.6.8
