I am running linex on an Acer Aspire one. I have tried to update Firefox to version 4 and after sucessfully downloading the file I then couldn't install the update. I have extracted the file from the archiever be still can't work out how to run the update. I am now being advised to update to version 6 which I have tried but without any more sucess. I have checked if my automatic updates are enabled under the edit/preferances/advanced/updates tab but cannot select the firefox box as it is not highlighted. Any help would be great. Thanks Paul.
