Basic toolbar functions seem inaccessible from Firefox button in RC1

I understand that it's possible to enable the Menu Bar, in which case the new Firefox button disappears and my tabs are below the bar. But the suggested arrangement in FF4 is to disable that bar, and when I do that, (1) the location bar and search bar disappear as well, and (2) I don't see any way of accessing (among the drop-down options from the FF button) the basic menu bar controls: back page, forward page, refresh, home page.

I'm running XP, by the way.
