The "press esc..." message used to disappear after a few seconds, but lately it stays on the screen through the entire video playback.

I posted the prior post and fixed the problem(s). 1. The problem was Adobe's updater would not update to the latest version, even though the installer said it was successful, the flash player remained at the older version, Firefox's excellent Plugin Check page verified this for me.

2. Adobe is aware of this particular issue for awhile and has an uninstaller for the Flash Player plugin. It worked clean and fast. I then went back to Adobe and happily saw the sad face and Clicked install. It installed the latest version as it was the only version :)....

3. Now all works perfectly, the "Press Esc to exit full screen mode" message now once again fades out as it's supposed to.

4. I'm glad I've grown enough not to lay blame to Mozilla in a fit of rage as we so often do.

That's the fix.

I should have remembered as it was this same type problem that caused a totally different (and worse) error about 2-1/2 years ago.

i have the same troube watching abc.com episodes on Windows 7 professional edition 64 bit on lenovo i7 intel, using firefox 3.6.6 with latest flash, java, acrobat installed. I just recently switched from the IE8 that came with this laptop, and my experiences with firefox so far have been bad on this platform. I have couple of other issues which i have to report on relevant threads.

I have the same problem watching ANY video in full screen using Firefox 3.66.

There were no other problems prior to 3.6.6 update and no additional plugins or addons have been installed, except for Adobe Flash player update to most recent. And at Marlboro.com it doesn't even see the updated flash component either now.

That's 2 problems that did not exist prior to update 3.6.6. I truly HATE having to use Chrome to view video related items in full screen& to have to go to Marlboro.com with an UNSECURED browser like Chrome is a sin.

I've put to much dependence on Firefox. Chrome was for quick in and outs, not a browser one should keep active at all.

Please fix.Thanks.
