Sending of password for user xxxxxx did not succeed.
Every time TB seeks to download new email or I manually request to download new email I get the message "Sending of password for user xxxxxxx did not succeed." It then asks for the new password and it fails again. This all started when my provider required I update my email password.
Provider: Windstream.net
I can see my email on the web based email tool they provide. I can download email if I restart TB but I only get email on that one attempt. Then the error messages come consistently after that.
Configuration, incoming: pop.windstream.net Port 995 username Security: SSL/TLS Normal password
Outgoing: smtp.windstream.net Port 465 username Normal password SSL/TLS
I have tried deleting my profile and building it again and all that accomplished is losing my stored mailbox folders and emails (which were archived and I was able to reset the directory to go back to the original folders and emails) but the new profile did not fix the issue of losing the ability to reconnect and download emails automatically.
The saved passwords are only showing the current password but the saved passwords only show for the smtp server, should there be another listing for the pop server?
