Hope someone can help please. I’m suddenly getting told since installing 11.4.0.1 when I download files “This file contains a virus or malware”. Yes there is a workaround by saying Allow Download but that shouldn’t have to be the case. By the way my Internet Security confirms all these files are perfectly fine. Thank you.

Show the issue. What OS? Can we replicate your issue and download the same file(s)?

Here is a partial screenshot. File names are not necessary to show this issue. As for providing download links, this isn't possible as it is a premium download site.

As for which os, I have the same issue on multiple machines with different Windows os.

This message can indicate that the source site has a reputation for serving malware, or that the actual source URL has been tagged as malware. This data comes from the Google SafeBrowsing project (Firefox doesn't have a built-in antivirus scanner). See: How does built-in Phishing and Malware Protection work?

Thanks for that. As far as I am aware the site doesn't have bad reputation. Hopefully it gets resolved in future. I guess for now I'll keep allowing and double checking with Internet Security.
