I have updated Thunderbird to the latest version and created an exception to accept cookies from Google by entering https://accounts.google.com in the appropriate field. However, upon restarting Thunderbird I still get the message "Login to server imap.googlemail.com with username monikawalteris@gmail.com failed." Please tell me what else I need to do. I love Thunderbird and would hate to use Outlook or, worse, have to open a browser each time I want to check/write emails.
