I use Firefox for Android on my Galaxy Note 10+. Android version 11, One UI version 3.1. My Firefox version is current as of 18/02/22. As of about one week ago, Firefox is stuck in "fullscreen mode" on my phone. The consequence of this is it auto-hides my phone's status and menu bars. I cannot see my time, battery indicator, etc. I have to manually swipe from the edge of my phone to restore them temporarily. It is as though I am always watching a fullscreen video and my phone is hiding these status bars to maximise screen space.

This does not happen with any other apps, only Firefox. This is incredibly irritating, especially when typing, as my keyboard is unusually shifted down half an inch due to the lack of menu bar underneath it.

Should I try reinstalling Firefox?

I have tried restarting my phone, to no avail. My Firefox info is as follows: 97.1.0 (Build #2015860771), 365e9fb59+ AC: 97.0.10, d6ce171289 GV: 97.0-20220131171509 AS: 87.1.0

Hi

I think that what you are seeing is:

https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/23705

Do you have the 97.2 update?
