Last year my old PC went crazy. Couldn't access Firefox, email, & every other account w/pw. Spent weeks trying to fix, only to learn from the community: "WIN10 update can & will: freeze your PC; stop your isp; make FF searches impossible.; freeze every email account, keep you from logon to any registgered website. Never allow automatic updates. Always create a restore point & back up entire PC BEFORE attempting any update." Had to pay Geek Squad $240 for two-hour onsite visit. I thought it couldn't happen again. But after this morning's WIN10 update, it did. No email, instagram, twitter, Bing. No access to other isps. Microsoft tech support telephone number directs me to their website, which of course I cannot open. Can't contact Geek Squad b/c can't access THEIR website. I need emergency brain surgery--Doc told me to ER a week ago. Since this may be life-threatening, desperately trying to get my affairs in order. Even best case scenario means weeks of hospitalization & recovery. Downloaded all kinds of cool movies, TV, etc. to my Android. But it's linked to PC. And streaming video can only be accessed through my ISP. Phone hasn't worked in weeks. Voicemail keeps going offline. Phone rings, but I can't answer it. Was told to turn it off for 10 mintues for software update. Did that THREE times. I'm desparate. PLEASE help.
