Firefox snippet displayed my password in full and said that password is frequently hacked. This is both alarming and seems to be a security risk. What if someone is looking at my screen. Can this be reported to the developers?

Can't say I've ever had this message appear or heard of it appearing for someone else. The intention of the message is obviously to inform you that your password is insecure, but I can certainly see your concerns.
I've filed a bug (see bug 1594523) so that the developers can take a look at the problem.
If possible, please add yourself to the CC section of the bug so that you are informed of its progress and consider a Bugzilla account so that you can respond to any additional requests for information.
hi, i think it's just coincidence - it's not *your* password that's shown in the message, but one of the commonly used ones. you should probably take that as the hint, to change your passwords and pick a more secure one: https://blog.mozilla.org/firefox/how-to-create-strong-passwords/
Always make sure to use a password that consists of random character(lowercase, uppercase , numbers, symbols) to get a strong password and never use a password that is listed in a dictionary or is otherwise a common word and newer use the same password on multiple websites.
