I have to repair .msf folder every time to see new emails. This problem started about 11 Sep 2019.

I tried re-installing Thunderbird but the new install comes in with all my account information, including (I assume) whatever is trashing the .msf file. How is this possible? This is on an Mac iBook running High Sierra.
