Why does Firefox, recently, not send complete pdfs (they are zero bytes in my dowloads folder)?
Question is the complete problem. Running High Sierra and FireFox 64.0.2

Hey - - you did it! With all add-ons disabled, the pdf works fine. MANY THANKS, WestEnd, for sticking with me. BK

firefox is a browser it doesn't send pdf that would be either the email provider your using or something else.
Safari is a browser and when I click on "download pdf" is does send a complete pdf to my downloads folder. FireFox used to do that but now does not.

Ok, that is more clear then before. Well So what is the site your clicking that your saying isn't doing what it did before? So what addons do you have installed?
Various sites - - Wall Street Journal, my financial institutions, etc. all of which worked before. Addons - - well, I checked this and found that I had two Nortons and a "disabled" Acrobat. I enabled the Acrobat and tried the download again, still does not bring in more than zero bytes.
So what if you disable all addon? I suspect the Norton are inferring with the download.
