Can't connect to GMail account
I'm trying to set up Thunderbird for the first time, connecting to my existing GMail account to get away from the horrid new GMail UI. But there is some kind of handshake issue between GMail and Thunderbird that is not a password issue. Looks like a certificate issue, but that seems unlikely with Google. Can someone enlighten me?

Inspect the cert - see the attached screenshot for instructions.
Who is the issuer of the cert? Please post a screenshot of the Certificate Manager window with the issuer information visible.
