With Firefox 63 my browsing history is lost after Win7 crashes, with earlier versions this was never a problem - is there anything I can do?

I run Win 7/64 and normally use Firefox for web browsing. I now run FF 63.0.1 (64 bit) and have noticed that my browsing history is lost after computer crashes. The session with open tabs and the correct urls are recreated, but not the browsing history (i.e. for example, links in a web forum appear "unvisited" rather than "visited" which is very unpractical, and the main history menu is empty. However not the "recently closed tabs" for some reason.) This was never a problem with earlier versions of FF.

Yes - I should have all the correct settings set in the history section in Settings/Options, by the way (I run the Swedish language version, am unsure what it's called).

(I can't be entirely sure it's related to the FF 63 rather than something else, but it seems likely.)

Is there something I could do to avoid this and have the browsing history recreated or saved as before? Thanks!
