On version 52 ESR of Firefox I can manually choose to have Adobe Reader DC be the default action for opening PDF documents. How can I push a policy to make this the default action for all the desktops on my network? I've looked at modifying handlers.json and perfs.js but these reside in a policy folder that is unique for each desktop. Help appreciated!

High, is rather difficult to answer you that as well as make the answer work beyond June. How many is all on your Network ? Fyi : the path way of ESR : Firefox 52.9.0esr out on June 26 (same time as 60.1.0esr) will be the last major update for Firefox 52 ESR apart from any 52.9.x esr updates for security or allowed stability fixes.

Based on Quantem Firefox 60.2.0esr will be out Aug 21 and Firefox 52 ESR will be EOL then. So people will have to upgrade to 60.2.0esr to keep getting security updates if they have not manually upgraded to 60.x.o ESR already. Firefox 60 ESR will require Windows 7, 8, 10.

So with this info please consider your plans and as per URL's you maybe able to do that yourself in 60esr+

I will have to change my method in June when the next version is released, got it. Until then I need a solution for 30 users on my small network. Where are the settings stored for PDF actions? My goal is for users who click on a PDF in Firefox to have it then open with Adobe DC. I understand its not good to modify perfs.js. Is ther ea combination of settings in handler.json and/or mozillia.cfg that will achieve this? Thanks again
