Thunderbird loads as pop3 but not IMAP
Had Thunderbird working fine on PC using Pop3. Followed instructions to change to IMAP. Deleted Pop, started re-loading using IMAP. Click on 'Done' on the email setup page and another page appears with Google at the top and none of the page links (except changing fro US English to UK) work. If I then look back at the email setup page, the 'looking for password' symbol goes round forever! Start again using Pop selected, and it loads in seconds! Screenshots attached.

You would click on 'Next' button and gmail would ask for password. Are you saying the 'Next' button does not work?
That is correct. The only function on that page is to select language. The 'Forgot mail', 'More options' and 'Next' links do nothing although the cursor changes to a hand when I hover over them.
As you were a previous 'POP' user, can you confirm that you used a browser and logged on to gmail webmail account and select the imap option ?
