windows re-open in odd sizes after I used multiple displays
Last week I connected my Macintosh to my television set with the HDMI cable, and used the TV as a second monitor screen. I played around with various screen resolution settings on the TV and the Mac, and dragged various Firefox windows over to the TV.
Ever since then, whenever I restart Firefox and Restore Previous Session, windows open in odd sizes. NOT necessarily the size it was when I Quit Firefox. Firefox is failing to clear or reset something in connection with the window size. The resolution seems to be normal for the computer screen in use.

You may have corrupt xulstore.json or Localstore.rdf file.
Close Firefox. Open your file browser to this hidden location:
- Mac: *~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/
- Linux: *~/.mozilla/firefox/
- Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\
- *C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\
Locate the above files. Then rename or delete them. Restart Firefox.
I just tested with 3 windows. They opened in the odd sizes. So I resized them to full screen, quit, re-opened, and again Restored Previous Session. The second time, they still appeared in their odd sizes, but after a moment blinked & resized to full screen size.
It seems that the default size of a blank window has been changed as well, the blank window displayed on startup is smaller than my screen.
But the fundamental bug is that FireFox is not behaving correctly after changes in screen resolution and/or multiple monitors on a Mac.
