My cat once did something to a tab that nobody's ever heard of.

This is just a silly question about something my cat did one time. Basically, my cat is fat and one day she didn't eat for seven hours so she lost her damn mind. Among other things, she ate 11 laptop keys and somehow named my laptop. Also, she opened a tab that I'd closed before I left and she put this forest green border around it. Unfortunately, I never took a screenshot of it. I've asked various people since but nobody had ever heard of such a thing, nor has been able to find out. So, just out of curiosity, does anyone have any idea as to what that green border might have been?

hi, thanks for reporting - this fits perfectly into our collection of cat-induced strangeness.

unfortunately i'm not sure about what may have happened there either, maybe she was trying to install a lightweight theme for firefox?

No, it was only around a tab. The tabs were under the address bar then, and the border was under the tabs, only around one tab and it had numbers and arrows on it, like width and height measures, to give you an idea.

Looking at all the strangeness (sorry, I didn't know about it, I would've posted there, is there a way to move this?) , I remembered that she'd also opened a few new windows and each of them had mozilla help open in several tabs. That was always the first thing she did when she got on the keyboard. I don't know how she did that, either, I've read that f1 used to open help but you had to press fn to get f1 and she'd eaten that button, I had to use a pen to hit it. :P

Do you remember what Firefox version you were using at that time or in what year this happened (recently or a longtime ago)?

There are items in the Help menu (Alt+H H) opens help for instance. There are also developer tools (Alt + T > Web Developer) that you might have seen.

It's been three years, I don't remember what version I was using at all. If that helps, in the tab she opened there was a fox with a nurse's hat on. But it's ok, I've accepted that she knows mozilla better than I do.

It's the green border that I'm still incredibly curious about. I have friends who studied Electrical Engineering (Ι believe that's the right word for it) at the time and there were three of them trying to replicate it and even they weren't able to.
