Whenever I am playing a video, such as on www.cbs.com, shockwave will crash. And it's not always because of shockwave. I could just be on Facebook, not playing a video or anything and the page will just crash.

Here is an example of the report.

The crash report covers several pages. We need their numbers

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers, click it and select Submit.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

Those Windows crash reports don't do us any good.

And the Firefox crash report ID's need to be submitted to the crash reports domain - by clicking on each of them so the ID becomes a string starting with bp-, as Fred posted.

What you post is the information that will be attached to the actual crash report when you send it to the server. This information doesn't include the crash report ID.

If you have submitted crash reports then please post the IDs of one or more recent crash reports that have a "bp-" prefix:

  • bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

You can find the Report ID of recent crash reports on the "Help > Troubleshooting Information" page (about:support).

  • Click the "All Crash Reports" button on this page to open the about:crashes page and see all crash reports.

If necessary then you can open about: pages via the location/address bar.

If the "bp-" prefix is missing then click its line on the about:crashes page to submit the crash report and the crash report will get a "bp-" prefix (do not add it yourself).
