"Firefox is still running but not responding" message and "plugin container not working" report after quiting FF and other problems.
Every time I close FF it will close but next time I try to open it, it gives the message "firefox is already running but not responding. To open a new window you need to end previous process". I klick okay. Then it gives a message "plugin container not working". After choosing "close the program" FF starts again. FF is also very slow, and YouTube vids don't start sometimes too giving an error but not always. Also it doesn't let me to open it in safe mode or refresh it and crashes often.

There seem to be two separate issues, however I am not aware if they are related.
For the plugin container crashing, it may be crashing because of one of the plugins that you have enabled.
Plugin: Estonian ID Card authentication module 3.8.1.1056 ({aa84ce40-4253-a00a-8cd6-0800200f9a66}) <- might want to see if disabling this stops the crashing, then try an update.
Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.
This is not a cure but will make it easier if Firefox locks up in Windows. https://support.mozilla.org/questions/997866 {web link}
Thanks, I tried disable plugins and container stoped crashing. But when I looked to plugins again they were enabled again. Is that normal that they turn themselves on again? So, at first plagin container didn't crash. I tried to start youtube video and the plugin container and FF crashed both write away. Now I turned all plugins off with "asking permission for turning them on" exept shockwave flash and you tube plays without errors or crashing and so does pl.container and FF haven't crashed also. At least for now. Message about already running FF still remains before reopening FF.
Tried few days ago to reinstall FF - didn't change anything. And I forgot to mention before that the problem accured after I restored Windows to factory settings and installed Firefox again after that. Maby that is important information. And at the moment I notised while writing here that computer or FF freezed few times for a few seconds.
To Fred: The problems with FF crashing started right away after installing it. Plugin container problem started little later but before I installed antivirus and some other stuff like adblock. And toolbars I don't have at all. I know they bring problems so I try to keep FF as simple as it is possible. All addons I have are: Adblock Plus 2.6.7 (installed after problems accured, so it's not the cause) Avast online security 10.1.0.170 Magic actions for YouTube 6.8.4.4 (also installed later with Video Resumer) Video Resumer 1.1.3 Advanced System Care Surfing Protection 2.0 (disabled from the start) Estonian ID Card authentication module (also disabled). Everything is up to date.
Open the settings for all of the protections programs. Tell them to leave the browsers alone.
You said that the options were changing on their own: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-to-fix-preferences-wont-save
Bookmark and use this; Mozilla Search Reset {web link} This add-on is very simple: on installation, it backs up and then resets your search preferences and home page to their default values, and then uninstalls itself. This affects the search bar, URL bar searches, and the home page.
Settings Guard for Firefox {web link} Detects and resets changes to settings that are frequently done by add-ons and application installers.
Thanks! That's weird... Before trying these advises I tried one more time to disable plugins and they stayed disabled this time. I have made no changes and I haven't used FF. So only problems that are still present are FF crashing, staying running and slightly freezing time to time.

One thing to try is to re-install Firefox
Download Firefox Full Installer For All languages And Systems {web link} Save the file. Then;
Using your file browser, open the Programs folder on your computer.
Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86) Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. Linux: Check your user manual.
Look for, and rename any Mozilla and Firefox folders by adding .old to them.
Now run the full installer. If all goes well, remove the OLD folders when you are done.

The crash report flagged these programs;
Signature PK11_IsDisabled
nvwgf2um.dll = NVIDIA Compatible D3D10 Driver
nvumdshim.dll = NVIDIA D3D Shim Driver
Try to re-install using the full installer.
Sorry, re-install NVIDIA.
Do you mean reinstall all NVIDIA or you mean only theese drivers? Anyway I'm not sure I know how to reinstall NVIDIA or it's drivers.
