Vimeo doesn't play in Firefox 35 ... help, please
I used to be able to view retreat videos from Tricycle magazine. However, they have apparently switched to Vimeo, and I can't get any of them to work now. I even went to the Vimeo site, and none of the sample videos there work in Firefox, either! I really don't want to have to go to Internet Explorer. Can you help?

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
Grab the uninstaller from here: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows Uninstall Flash Player | Mac Then reinstall the latest version.
Flash Player v16.0.0.287

The other version is set to "Never Activate" ... i have run uninstall several times, but it won't uninstall it.
What can't uninstall?
You can uninstall programs from the computer. Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. Linux: Check your user manual.
If you still need help; Go to Microsoft: Fix problems that programs cannot be installed or uninstalled {web link} and check it out.
You can find the installation path of all plugins on the about:plugins page.
You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove older version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32) and possibly (re)install the latest Flash player.

The plugin for Shockwave Flash 11.4 didn't appear in either the windows programs uninstall utility or in Revo Uninstaller Pro. Believe me, i tried.
However, having the path for the .dll was very helpful ... i uninstalled the old flash player from there and that seems to have done the trick!
I wrote a bit too soon. I thought that it had solved the problem, but it did not. this is very frustrating! thanx, for all your efforts to help me.
Did you install the latest Shockwave Flash plugin, as there have been security issues with Flash and Adobe has released updates to address these.
Did you verify via the right-click context menu that the Flash player is used and not an HTML5 media player?
right click doesn't bring up a context menu (the way Flash does usually). I went into the applications screen of options and it only showed Quicktime 7.7
I had installed the latest Adobe Flash from their website as an early attempt to solve this problem.
thanx.

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open the Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac:<Command>) <Shift> A)
On the left side of the page, select Plugins. Make sure the ones you want to use are set to Ask or Allow.
Go to the web page. Once the page is loading, mouse to the address bar and Left click the icon. A window for displaying site information should come up. Select More Information. Now select Permissions. In the menu, Make sure the ones you want to use are set to Ask or Allow.
