FlashPlayer Update Seems to Have Reset Firefox.

Windows Vista, up to date. Most recent Firefox update. Most recent Flashplayer update.

I followed the prompt to update Flashplayer as usual, which opened and ran via Internet Explorer (shared computer, IE is default browser). After downloading & installing FP update, it opened the FP "Step 3" page in Firefox, apparently crashing it in the process.

Normally, Firefox opens with 2 pinned tabs (one of which is Pandora) and whatever is left over from the most recent browsing session. This time it opened with one darkened/unloaded tab (the "FF crashed" page) and the Adobe FP Step 3 page in the 2nd tab of 2 tabs, which was loaded. No other tabs, pinned or otherwise. Subsequent opening of FF opens the FF start page and no other tabs. The normal setup is listed in History under "Restore Closed Windows" ("Restore Closed Tabs" has a separate list).

Opening the previous setup from "Restore Closed Windows" brings up the setup, though Pandora has become effectively non-responsive (cache, cookies, history, etc. has been cleared) due to a buggy script. However, no matter where I navigate, FF never restores the previous session (like it's supposed to), but instead defaults to the Start page.

I have not tried resetting FF, hoping for a better fix.

Thanks in advance.

Please try to reinstall Flash, it is possible to restore the session restore file in your profile folder to a previous version. But first I would recommend Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles

Update: everything's working now; apparently Firefox was not up to date, though I still don't know what went wrong.
