Tools > Options > Download setting changes without input from me
I have a default directory (M:\temp) for all new incoming files. I was using version 28 until recently when I updated to version 29. I didn't like some of the features, so I reverted back to version 28. During the short time I was using 29, I noticed this behavior. Once back using version 28, the behavior continued.
The most common time for this to occur is when I reopen the browser, although it has occurred even when the window has been open for some time.

Did you check the setting for Downloads - Save files to in Options > General to see if it had changed?
Yes. Whenever the download dialog window appears, I close it, and check Tools > Options > Downloads; the radio button has moved to "Ask me...".
Anyone have a clue what's going on?

Are these the same program, or is one of them an add-on to the other?

Some users were reporting problems.
Download Status Bar was the original add-on. I don't recall why I installed Download Statusbar Fixed. But I disabled them both, then closed and re-opened the browser. The same behavior exists.
Check the settings on Flash and Video Download.
