Sometimes you can not save it form the website either, but that is because of website configuration and you can not save it on other browsers, but on other browsers you can save from Google Images by holding down on an image, so it is only the issue of Firefox and not the Google Images website. This issue seems to be present for over 2 years based on online feedback, and it is still not fixed.
