Using Samsung S22 Ultra. Had probably 100+ tabs open, and as I was browsing a site, suddenly Firefox crashed, and on re-opening the app, all the tabs are gone, some dating back to months ago.

Unfortunately I wasn't aware of the tab saving add-ons until after the fact, but still, the fact that there's no "restore previous session" on mobile is extremely irritating, and history only goes so far. Why is this a thing? I can't believe this

Firefox is working in background and draining the battery. That what I see in battery usage information. I have tried to limit and stopped Firefox but it is still on the top of battery usage.

Hi, this issue has been present for a long time for me, and with many versions of Firefox Nightly for Android.

I'm always using the latest nightly for browsing Youtube only, with a set of specific settings and addons (since we can't use profiles on Android yet)

My problem is I've configured the Homepage to never show anything but a few URLs I chose to pin, you can see my settings and my homepage in the screenshots attached.

Despite the "Recently visited" setting being disabled, sometimes, but not everytime, the last pages I visited are added to the Homepage, after the pinned sites. I have no idea what triggers it or not, if I'm doing something wrong or if it's a bug.

I have read the thread for this similar problems, tried all the suggestions but I'm Still experiencing videos not staying full-screen. Is there any other solution to it? This has started since yesterday but everything was fine before then.

My firefox version: 124.2.0 My phone: Xiaomi redmi note 13

The problem: This problem is most prominent when I want to listen to music on youtube while having another app open. I have "video background play fix" add-on. Interestingly, just going to the home screen keeps the song playing, but once I go to any other app (tested with discord, whatsapp and veryfitpro) the song stops playing. Then I go back to the app and it reloads the entire website and the song is at the beginning waiting for me to press play. I've tried different battery optimization strategies in the app's settings and none of them worked. Tried clearing the cache.

I'm noticing an abnormal battery usage in my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Ive used other Chromium based browsers without issues. Sadly I'll have to stop using it.

When commenting on 9gag, the blue "post" button disappears. If I choose "Desktop sight", the entire page reformats and becomes different and I lose all of my posting information.

I'm having the same issue as previously posted below. I am on a Google pixel 7 pro.

"On youtube mobile site or a reddit video, when I click the bottom right button to fullscreen the video, a message pops up that says 'entering fullscreen mode' (with a firefox logo on the left of the message) and then firefox closes and I'm at my android home page

This seems to happen when I watch videos in a new instance. If I reopen firefox to the video and then try fullscreen again, it goes full screen no problem. So basically it's annoying and happens when I try to watch any video full screen for the first time.

Is this a known bug? Wasn't an issue on my old phone (I just got the galaxy s23). "

I can't search or write any url in search bar whenever I click on search bar it crashed my keyboard layout and it will be slide down. This error occurred while I download some files and didn't allow the notification for showing download in notification panel. When I have allow the download notification it works fine and download percentage shows in notification bar but I can't see my downloads in download tab. It's empty. These are bugs I am facing. Please fixed it I have give you the whole schenario of finding bug so you can get it clearly.

Can high resources eatin' (maybe graphics, IDK) Ads, for Me in the Webside embedded and (sometimes) with 'movie' like movement decorated, automatically get blocked?

My phone runs slow, 'even' with just 1 Tab open and only Firefox Mobile App on the phone active.

Sorry, I can't see the field I type in currently, maybe I writ a bad layout right now, but content matters XD.

When displaying an iframe video in a popup, clicking the close button and other click events do not work. This issue only occurs in the Firefox browser on Android, while it functions correctly in the Firefox browser on iOS.

Is this a default behavior.

I have firefox for android, and I have ublock origin, which is great.

However, firefox seems to refresh constantly- even if I minimize it than return instantly- it automatically goes into a refresh mode, it refreshes randomly while scrolling- I wish I coudl completely turn this "feature" off across all browsers.

I cannot state how many times I have lost VITAL data from this annoying random refreshing.

It should be an option to completely disable refreshing of ANY kind, rather than forcing it down our throats, and losing time, and data. If I want to see new content I will refresh it myself/ re enable the option. I was hoping this ridiculous "feature" would be phased out when humanity pulled its head out, but apparently- it's gotten even worse, now.

I'm not sure why, sometimes the status bar clock and stuff do hide, but I just can't seem to figure out how to get them to hide every time, and they usually don't. I've already tried disabling picture in picture for the app but that isn't noticeably helping. Full screen video is supposed to hide those, right? What are the reasons it wouldn't?

When a video plays, it will be laggy for a few seconds, the came back normal. Sometimes it doesn't recover from it. This happened almost everytime for the Firefox 124.2 version, seems like it has a frame rate cap.

As I installed the Firefox 122.0 version, it only appears a few times a moment, but still face a small chance to occur.

I was a bit surprised that I found some mozilla kraken benchmark 1.1 results that were somewhat better than mine (despite being done on the same mobile SoC as mine)

I then read closely that the better score was made on the Chrome Mobile browser.

I then installed Chrome on my mobile and also suddenly got results which average were about 25 - 28 % better than when I ran Kraken in Firefox Is that to be expected? Or can I do something to make my firefox just as fast?

On the Firefox Android app, after closing few tabs, exiting the application and re-entering the application, the closed tabs reappears as if they weren't closed at all. I found this is a well known bug and there are few open threads on bugzilla on this topic. Someone said that's related to a corruption of the closed tabs' json file.

PS. It's difficult to share a screenshot, probably a video is more explanatory

Any website that uses OscillatorNode and other similar features has the audio generated devolve into a crackly mess after only a second or two.
