No media notification while watching youtube videos (since Firefox 111 or earlier).

It was availabe recently, it was possible to play video in the background. Now it's no longer possible.

i checked on two different Android devices - the same issue.

On some sites Firefox will not play the embedded videos. For example embedded screencast recordings like those used by employee time management platforms eg time doctor. Not sure of the format maybe webm

Firefox won't play videos in the background all of a sudden anymore. It doesn't show up in the control panel at all as playing or paused. If I set my phone into desktop mode on YT the videos will play for a few minutes, then stop. I tried reinstalling the app and can't find a solution.

I downloaded Firefox to get away from Google, but Google is the default search engine. Can't Google collect data from my searches? Then why do I need Firefox? (Please don't suggest that I switch to DuckDuckGo because I find that search engine problematic.)

My Samsung Galaxy S5e tablet settings are set to Dark mode and work fine. My Firefox settings are set to Follow Device Mode and work fine when I am in Firefox settings. Why doesn't Google search page in Firefox go to Dark mode? If I turn on Desktop site I can turn Google dark but as long as I am on mobile page there does not seem to be anyway to enable dark mode? Any help?

This seems to be a longstanding issue that has not been addressed. Apple TV does not work on Firefox for Android. Apple TV does work on all other browsers that I've tested on Android and is also working on Firefox for Linux.

Descriptions of problem can be found elsewhere, EG green screen, distortion, audio working only.

Choice needed: It's ridiculous that in 2024 in the era of huge screen tablets and phones, we are still knocked back to mobile view again and again and again. If you love mobile view and you love the bigger icons, fine! I'll go get you a juice box and you'll have a great day. But some people don't. I just want default to desktop as an OPTION. Some websites are open in Firefox. It shows certificate not trusted. Security reasons etc. But the same website works fine in Google Chrome. Please fix it. Firefox shows warning in Many government websites of India also. This is very bad.

Hi, I have a problem with remembering the login details on the account - the point is that everything works fine on the browser on the computer, while on the browser on the phone (android) it sees the login details, but after selecting it, it does not complete the login fields as if there were no such data and they are, after checking the tab "saved login details" and finding the login, I manually copy the data and paste it on the page, then I log in ok. Why does the login not work with saved logins? Has anyone had or has the same problems? P.S Synchronization is done, the browser is reinstalled, it's the same on another phone
