First off it set the search bar and menu at the bottom of the screen and I didn't know how to change that. Then I couldn't sync with all my account passwords and bookmarks previously saved on other apps. I had to delete the app because the idea of privacy is great and all but I need to get access to my preferred websites and accounts easily. If you can provide an easy fix I will give the app another try.

I have some personal reasons due to which I am requesting you.
It is not even giving the option to delete Saved password.

When trying to autofill password in other app, a fingerprint icon alongside "Unlock Firefox" is being displayed. Tapping on said icon doesn't do anything. And I can't simply unlock via fingerprint, since my device is using an in-display fingerprint reader which triggers the keyboard stroke instead of reading the fingerprint to unlock the passwords.

I can add a passkey using the same device in chrome. Device is Pixel 7 Pro. Firefox version 121.1.0 (Build #2015996455) can Firefox allow for me to create a passkey using 1password or hardware key? But, when logging in to apps on the Samsung, autofill doesn’t work. Even if I fill in my email address, there is no password suggestion. Instead, a small dropdown message appears: ‘unlock Firefox’. It isn’t active, and doesn’t open anything when I tap on it. Result: I have to go looking for the passwords and fill them in manually. I hope there’s a solution. thank u in advance for your help. LL

Decided to check my passwords for something because I forgot it. List was completely empty.. Search bar not working (tried just in case), When using saved passwords autofill out of Firefox app it said 'you have no saved passwords with firefox' or something similar I'm on an android phone right now. Can't currently check if they are also gone on laptop.

I like using fingerprint to unlock my mobile and I can manage the risks linked to the weaknesses of the method.
BUT I find very dangerous to be able to access all my passwords using my finger. My finger could be used when I am asleep for example and the person would be able to see and copy all the passwords he wants while I am sleeping. I would even not notice he copied anything when I wake up.
When I want to see a password I am proposed to use PIN AND fingerprint. So unless there is a way to disable unlocking the passwords with the fingerprint, I am forced to disable fingerprint to unlock my mobile which is annoying.
My question is -- How do I disable fingerprint for accessing my passwords without removing fingerprint globally ?
