For awhile now since I last updated the android app it's started freezing after awhile when I try to open a new tab or type in the address bar. Sometimes it looks like it's opening a new tab but it's just a duplicate of a different tab then it freezes. Restarting the app makes it work again but it won't remember the last thing I was doing and the history shows up entirely blank. Even closing the app before it freezes it won't remember what I just had open

When I open a link within another app, like Facebook or Discord, it usually opens a version of Firefox inside that app, without all the full features. And that's fine, because usually I just want to read whatever it is quickly, and move on. However, I've noticed that if I change apps or let the screen time out when I have one of these links open, the screen will be black or blank when I open it again. I have to go back and click the link again to make it load. Refreshing doesn't work, and if I go to the menu and click "Open in Firefox" after this happens, that tab will never load. I have to copy the URL and open a new tab to load it.

Obviously, I can get around this by choosing the "Open in Firefox" option as soon as I load the page in the first place, but I don't really want to have to open a new tab in my browser every time I want to read a news article on FB or open a meme someone sent me. Overall, I really love Firefox, but this is a problem I didn't have with Chrome, and I'm not seeing anything in the settings to change it. Is this a common issue, and can it be fixed?

When reading the site https://hellasjournal.com after a while Firefox freezes and crashes. It's not a site problem because with Chrome works fine.

This issue started earlier this month. Sometimes, when I click on the address bar to enter a new address or something like that, Firefox freezes and I have to restart it and after the restart it comes back to the page I was in like 10 minutes ago.

Hi, I have the latest firefox on my Samsung A54 5G (and previously on my A71). I'll open firefox, do a few searches and eventually I'll do a search and firefox goes back to the last search results and does NOT show any links related to the new search. If I kill firefox and restart it, it works again. The problem is more irritating than it might sound because it seems to happen too frequently when I am trying to look something up - but when I try to reproduce the issue it's hard to reproduce. The key element may be that I need to have firefox open and idel for a while before the problem occurs. Any advice is welcome!

Frequently crashes without warning, pages lag constantly where scrolling down is impossible, even after the page is refreshed. Creates way too many new tabs (like 50 a day) and ads mess up the design of the webpage.

Firefox for Android is non-responsive on my Samsung flow HP PC screen. Please advise. All other browsers are responsive. Love Firefox thou, but can't use it on my PC (Samsung flow screen on the HP PC.)

I've been a long time Firefox (and Navigator before that) user in all platforms, so it's only natural I'm using it on mobile.

When visiting theguardian.com, firefox freezes, stops rendering and causes the whole phone to stutter.

Procedure: - visit theguardian.com - scroll the home page, open some news in tabs - try scrolling further down and/or switching to tabs with news

What happens: - guardian home page, as well as other pages stop rendering and are blank above and below the viewport (see attached screenshots includ9ng screenie of this page. yes, I'm writing this again, had to kill FF) - tabs with news don't render at all (are blank) - when minimizing firefox, whole phone stutters. - usually, after some minimizings and maximizings, firefox renders ONE news tab. - sometimes only killing FF helps

The phone is fairly recent with the latest Snapdragon 8 and 12 gigs of ram.

Yes, I disabled all plugins and cleared the cache and all data.

Everytime I go to Michael's. Com or Hobby Lobby .com my scrolling starts to stick I like click on ornaments let's sat. It will scroll the first few then it's Jerry and no matter how many times I try to scroll down it keeps popping back to where it got stuck at. Problem: I have downloaded after uninstalling several times, and the results are consistent. I bring up a scrollable page and dragging doesn't work (scrolling). In addition, if I click on a link, it asks if I want to open in a new link instead of just opening. When I click on new link, nothing happens. I am running the latest version downloadable of Android, and the latest downloadable firefox from android playstore.

Just updated Firefox, now it doesn't respond to clicks, not can I select text, websites don't load, all the tabs are at half -resolution. Unusable. Need to use it.
