I'm unable to open "t.co" links from Twitter on Firefox. I tried both in app browser from Twitter's feed and pasting the link directly into Firefox but can't get it to work. Links work normally on another browser.

unable to set YouTube video quality via firefox. goes back to high resolution and results in buffering. On other browsers it doesn't go back to high resolution once I set it.

I have a lot of websites bookmarked on my Android, a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G 128GB. Well, "bookmarked" is the wrong word. I have saved them on the homepage so that I can get to them quickly. Trouble is, every single one of them is just labeled "Firefox".

For example, I have a folder named "Gen'l Reference" with 11 items. (See attached image.) Some of them open apps and are properly labeled with the name of the app, e.g., "UnicodePad", "Translate", and "DuckDuckGo". But others link to websites, mostly with specific functions, such as Snopes.com, timeanddate.com, and emojipedia.org. All of these just show the Firefox icon and are labeled simply "Firefox". The only way I can get to the one I want is to remember where it is in the layout. How can I give them appropriate labels, with or without their own icons?

Hi! Recently I tried to make a payment on a website (using Firefox Nightly for Android) that would not recognize numbers in the dollar amount field. I received a message saying that the field could not be blank, although I had entered a number. I ended using another browser and finished the transaction without issues. Any feedback on this would be very helpful.

In the desktop browser you can load the History tab, right-click a page, then click Forget This Site. Is there any way to do that in the Android version? It's needed for site development purposes.

Mobile sites have always sucked. We can try and argue about it, but the fact is they are horrible. If they are not trying to force an app down my throat, they are convoluted, buggy or lack functionality.

And then half the time when you use the "Switch to desktop" toggle, it loads a version of that same site as if a desktop opened the mobile version of that site, then you have to go into the URL, remove the little m in front of the URL, and hope the rest of the URL still points you to the right place.

Don't get me wrong, mobile sites have come a long way. But why do we still have them? The screen on my phone has more pixels than my desktop. And with the distance I hold it from my face is bigger than my TV.

TL;DR Is there any chance that we can have an option that "Switch to desktop" is just always on?

I used to put a YouTube video with autoplay turned off, so whenever I fell asleep, the screen of my phone would turn off when the video was over.

Suddenly, some weeks ago, whenever the YouTube video stops, the screen remains on. And it drains the battery all night long.

I already completely uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, and also tried the Video Background Play Fix add-on, but this problems persists, and it's ONLY on YouTube.

What can I do?

my company is issuing documents that have QR codes (for verification. to try and counter counterfeiting). scanning them leads the user to the original file issued by our company. I use firefox as the only browser on my android device. when i scan QR, the link returns a .bin file instead of .pdf And from past 2 months i have been asking our web developer to fix the issue. Poor guy has verified multiple times and returned with the same answer that it works fine for him. god knows how much time he wasted in troubleshooting this wicked bug. Is there a way to force websites to install to open as a standalone Firefox instance rather than just a shortcut to open as a new tab? Facebook.com seems to be add to desktop as a link whereas Instagram.com seems to be installable more like a progressive web app

This occurs reliable for me right now on Firefox Mobile on https://aphyr.com/posts/358-a-history-of-leather-at-pride-1965-1995

While scrolling down the webpage, occasionally, about half a second after I lift my finger from the page, the viewport "jumps" up 1-2 paragraphs. This can happen more than once after I've stopped scrolling, or not at all. It appears to also sometimes happen while scrolling, but I can't reliably reproduce that part.

I've uploaded a video of this to https://i.imgur.com/guNho5G.mp4. It's a bit blurry, but the key point is there: I scroll down the page, slowly, and then right before the video loops, the screen "jumps up" once.

This also happens on https://www.egscomics.com/ occasionally, but on that webpage, it's only when I'm zoomed in on the text at the bottom, and scrolling slowly. Much less reliable to reproduce than the blog post on aphyr.com.

I am not sure if this is the result of a recent update, or perhaps a change from the provider. The site I am mostly noticing is Washington Post. I am attaching a before and after screen shot
