Firefox til Android supportforum

I have been using Firefox for Android Beta for several years in various phones. I recently bought a new phone and the browser no longer shows an option to "Quit" when I touch the three dots on the right side of the search bar. As a result, some websites stay connected after the browser is closed. When I restart the browser I am still logged in to the websites. How can I change this? The previous phone was using version 123.0b3. The current phone is using version: 123.0b7 Thanks. Jim Hampton

The keyboard when using Firefox Android on my Galaxy S24+ suddenly disappears then starts opening and closing and eventually I'm left with the a blank space where the keyboard sits but I can type on the blank area and the keyboard responds with characters. Eventually I have to repeatedly close Firefox Android to get it to operate correctly. Clearing the keyboard app (Samsung) seems to help.

Can you tell me why when I went to launch the app when I saw that the logo was fc written in white on a pink background? It went away after I launched the app and exited it again.

Using android firefox latest. I just have a suggestion. I'm using the browser with the url bar and buttons on.the bottom of the screen, to be better reachable with my thumb. Now when I long press a link the popup with the options list appears in the middle of the screen, making me reach quite high/using both hands. If it appeared on the bottom it would be more comfortable to use.

When I press the home button, the tab I was on remains in the background and a new tab is opened if I tap on one of the shortcuts. Is it possible to make it so that it stays in the same tab like on PC?

Around 3 years ago, I made a request to bring back Firefoxs amazing image toggling feature to allow users to toggle on and off images while browsing the web.

Some may think the only purpose of this feature is to save data and that is a good reason. But it has other uses as well. The internet can be triggering, it can be overstimulating. A power user can take control of that, and honestly, after my thread from 3 years ago was closed, the last word was, "Due to your request, The Team has decided to add this permissions (images, web fonts, javascript) somewhere around the end of this year."

But 3 years later, here we are. Still no Images selection in the Permissions menu.

I'm back asking for it again. I'm tired of using Opera mobile as the only mobile browser that has this feature. I want to come back to Firefox. And if someone won't do it, please point me in the direction for how I myself can alter this open source software so that I can add this old feature back.

merry christmas all ... in bookmarks why can't you organise them the way you want to ie: move them up or down in the order you want them... I can't find a way of doing it. and secondly on the homepage in the image I have uploaded why is there so much wasted space? and you can only have 2 rows of shortcuts. When I'm going to full screen video - I'm got control buttons on the screen. It's happened 2 weeks ago and go on to this day. I have to use Firefox to access my bank accounts as my version of chrome is no longer supported. However the magnification of the pages is too great in Firefox for me to use full page options. How can I reduce magnification of a Firefox page?

My issue is a rather frustrating one as, try as I might, I am unable to find the Menu button on the Firefox Home Screen.

FYI I’m using an Nvidia Shield that is utilising the latest Android TV OS.

Any help and advice that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

Surely I'm not the only one, when I try to paste in to a field in firefox 122.01 stock android 13, the paste buttons disappears almost immediately after you long press on a text field. Maybe 1 time in 3 it works ok.

Also, does anyone else have an issue with accessing facebook in firefox? Most times you try to type in a text box, it appears under the on-screen keyboard.

I had my homepage setup on my old phone with firefox and the Ustart homepage but when I tried to do the same thing on my new phone There is no place to enter it like the used to be
